Generic NQS has, at one time or another, been known to work on the following platforms:

FreeBSD v3.1 Core development platform
(since Sept 1999)

Fujitsu Known to work  
HP-UX v8 Probably broken  
HP-UX v9 Probably broken  
HP-UX v10.x Known to work  
HP-UX v11 Known to work  
IRIX v5.x Believed to work - it certainly used to  
IRIX v6.x Known to work; some networking issues  
Linux (all kernels) w/ libc v5 Probably works  
Linux (all kernels) w/ glibc v2.0 Known to work; core development platform (until Sept 1999) Stu
Linux (all kernels) w/ glibc v2.1 Known to work; core development platform (since Sept 1999) Stu
NCR UNIX Untested recently.  Should work using Solaris port.  
Solaris 2.0-2.5 Untested recently.  Should work.  
Solaris 2.6 Known to work; core development platform (since Sept 1999) using Solaris/x86  
Solaris 7 Known to work; core development platform (since Oct 1999) using Solaris/SPARC Stu
SunOS v4.1.4 Probably broken.  
ULTRIX v4 Untested recently.  Probably will break in the near future.  
UNICOS v8 Believed to work
