Monday, 13th March 2000

Things have been quiet on the GNQS front so far, as I've not been working on it at all.

The old job hunting has been taking up a lot of my time in the last couple of weeks.  I've landed one job offer, and am quietly confident of securing another offer later this week.

I get to decide on Monday which job to go for.  Once that's done, I can start sorting out buying a house.

I'm also in the process of moving all of my files across from Windows 98 to Windows 2000.  I've had over 400 days out of my Windows 98 installation, but it has become very unstable.  I could just re-install Win98, but I'm after something that will prove more reliable.  Windows 2000 may not do the trick, but I'll give it a go anyway.

This means at the moment that my email is not working.  Don't worry - all my email is quietly queuing up on my mailhub, and I'll get to it shortly.  Just as soon as I've figured out how to convince Outlook 2000 to import all my files and settings ...
